Dr. Randy Greenshields considers himself fortunate to call Wallowa County, Oregon his home for the past 21 years. He is co-owner of the Double Arrow Veterinary Clinic in Enterprise and enjoys the variety that a small-town, mixed-animal veterinary practice provides. Dr. Greenshields and his wife, Jeni, cannot think of a better place to raise their four children, 2 of which are now in college at Oregon State University. They have a few acres out of town where they enjoy their dog, 3 cats, 4 horses, one mule, several chickens, and an occasional orphaned bison. Dr. Greenshields also enjoys camping with his family as well as hiking, trail running, and bowhunting in the high mountains of the Eagle Cap Wilderness area.

Dr. Greenshields is a 1994 graduate of Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA where he met his future wife, Jeni, on his first day of school.

2015 is Dr. Greenshields’ eleventh year working the Eagle Cap, being a trail veterinarian since its beginning. He also serves on the race’s Board of Directors and is the Eagle Cap Extreme’s President.
